These are reference images that I think resemble the character's design, although the 3/4 and side images aren't the same male model, they were used just for proportional references...

LOL my only knowledge of groupers the fish comes from WoW... how sad... haha... I think the first thing that catches my eye are the lips. They're sticking out too much. If you look at the reference, the upper lip is almost a straight perpendicular down from the nose. Also I think the edge of the upper lip could use some softening. Good start tho!
