Here is some more work done on my model, Medrez on the legs and scarf, fingers are posed.
To be done,
-add more wrinkles and muscle tone on front of legs where the fabric is pressed against the shins
-add lower leg wraps
-add med rez detail on arms and torso
-more wrinkles on rear of scarf (1st scarf)

Hmm... I think there's too many wrinkles on the legs. Heavy materials tend to have fewer, rounder folds. Also the folds should follow the tension of the material and gravity for the most part. If you look at the reference image, the fabric doesn't have that many wrinkles and looks to be a heavy, durable material. Also maybe the ankles need to be thickened up. They look to be about the same as the wrists in your model. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteAren't ninja pants light and fluffy? :P They flap in the wind in KungFu movies :D Reference- Crouching Tiger-Hidden Dragon. Ya the ankles are thin, but as posted I will be adding the Ankle Wraps next :)
ReplyDeleteThose aren't ninjas, so no, they shouldn't be light and fluffy. And they still shouldn't wrinkle like that. The fold lines would go in the direction of the wind, and that's only if the pants were loose and baggy. Also the wind would smooth out the section that it's blowing perpendicular to as the cloth would push against the leg underneath.
